HTC One E9 and E9+ getting December’s Security Updates in Taiwan

Like the other HTC One devices, HTC has started rolling out december security patches along with some bug fixes and improvements to its HTC One E9 and E9+ in Taiwan. This update doesn’t significantly improve your device nor does it upgrade your HTC One E9 to the latest Android version. These updates are part of Google’s monthly security patches which Google decided to push out every month after the stagefright incident. These updates also bring some improvements in touch screen performance. The update for HTC One E9 carries version number 1.50.709.3 and the one for E9+ carries number 1.45.709.5. The update weighs 358MB in size.

The update is arriving over-the-air and should be hitting your HTC One E9 or E9+ soon if you live in Taiwan. You can also try checking for update from your device settings.
