Xiaomi to rollout MIUI 7.1 to few more devices on January 11

Just a few days ago, Xiaomi started pushing out MIUI 7.1 to many of Xiaomi smartphones and the Xiaomi Mi Pad. The update added tons of features and brought many bug fixes. But some of the devices were left behind.

Reportedly, more Xiaomi devices will be joining the MIUI 7.1 crew on January 11 as Xiaomi is going to rollout MIUI 7.1 to few more Xiaomi devices on that day. The devices which will be getting the update on January 11 are Xiaomi Mi 2, Mi 2S, Redmi 2, Redmi 2A, Redmi Note 2 and Redmi Note 3. This china state build update will be pushed out Over-the Air (OTA) to these which where left out on January 5 and will also be available for download from Xiaomi’s official website. Users who are currently on MIUI 5 or 6 will also be able to update directly to the MIUI 7.1 via OTA.
