Sammobile reported few weeks ago that Samsung is working on the successor of Galaxy Tab E with model number SM-T280 for WiFi and SM-T285 for LTE. It seems like the Wifi variant (SM-T280) has already been benchmarked on GFXbench and Geekbench revealing all of its specifications.
According to the GFX benchmarks, the tablet will be sporting a Spreadtrum SC8830 SoC with a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. GPU will be a dual-core Mali-400 MP2. It will have a 7 inches display with a resolution of 1280 x 800, a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. On the storage side, it will have a 8GB internal storage with support for microSD cards and will be running Android 5.1.1 out of the box.
There is no info about it release but we will definitely update you if we find anything.
