HTC’s sales drop by 35%, shows their annual financial report
Last month, we reported that HTC made some profit from one of their latest devices, the HTC One A9 and hit US$314.32 million in revenue. Today, HTC released their annual financial report which suggests something otherwise.
According to the report, HTC had sales of NT$ 121.68 billion (£2.51 billion) in 2015 which is a decrease of 35.24% from the previous year as the Taiwanese company made NT$ 187.91 billion in 2014. And their December 2015’s revenue fell 57.08% year on year with 36.6 percent from November to (£134.4 million).
Chief Executive of HTC concluded that they might see a uprise profitability with their newly announced VR, HTC Vive which would be a direct competitor to current VR makers like Oculus, Samsung, etc. Let’s see if HTC can really revive with their HTC Vive or not.
