Last month, we came across some real images of Xiaomi Mi 5 in white color. We also saw an alleged video of the white Xiaomi Mi 5 (added at the bottom, just in case you missed it). Today, we got our hands on some real images of a black Xiaomi Mi 5 which were uploaded by a Weibo user, but taken down later. These images completely match with the real images we saw last month.
Last week, Xiaomi’s co-founder, Liwan Jiang confirmed that Xiaomi Mi 5 will run on Snapdragon 820 SoC but will be missing Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner as we reported last week. He also confirmed that the device is currently in mass production and they are planning to reveal it after the Spring Festival in China.
As per the previous rumours, Xiaomi Mi 5 will have a 5.2-inches Full HD display and a 16MP rear camera. The device will come in 2 variants, 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. It is expected to be priced at 2499 yuan (about $378) for the 3GB/32GB model.
